Romancing the Desert — a group of photographs depicting the mystery and sensual starkness that can be found in the deserts of the American Southwest. It’s as though all light begins and ends in the desert. The sun rising — throws it particles well before dawn, reflections radiate from individual crystals of quartz — giving light to the coming day. Canyons surprise us with light pouring in. And well after dark on a moonless night, stars blanket the sky. Impossible to count. Then, when the moon rises, it casts yet another luminous quality of light upon the desert – almost eerie in its radiance.
